WHAT DO YOU NEED?

Do you have stereo headphone's that you can plug into your computer? If not, buy some, borrow some, but definately use them. Ones for an iPod or iPhone usually work fine. PLEASE NOTE: This will not work without listening through stereo headphones.

Make sure you're in a place where you'll not be interupted.. where you can feel relaxed and unbothered..

1. First Write Down 5 Things You Are GRATEFUL For

Give thanks for things in your life, whether small or big... whether it's your ability to breath... whether it's the smile of a stranger you just met... whether it's the opportunity to learn from a problem that's just arisen... Even if you can't think of anything you're grateful for, have a re-look at your life and the world and find things to be grateful for, it's important.
Whatever you choose to give gratitude for write them down. Each day you come back here write a new list of 5 things that you're grateful for, try to make it a new different list from any previous days.

2. PLUG YOUR STEREO HEADPHONES IN

Once you've done this plug in you're head phones and play the track shown above, just click the play button (the one with a triangle on).. Listen to this 30 minute track with your eyes closed, sitting in a comfortable chair once per day for the next 14 days.

Whatever arises in your mind whilst listening to this track just let it arise and let it pass, like watching a cloud in the sky.. it comes, it goes, un-touched, unhindered, with no need to get involved with it or distracted by it.. just let the clouds of thoughts and feelings come and go with the the simple enjoyment of just watching, just observing, without passing any judgment of good or bad, just accepting it all just as it is.

Relax with the healing sounds, and let them be as they are.


3. SIT FOR ANOTHER 2 MINUTES IN SILENCE

Once the track has finished playing (after 30 minutes or so).. just sit for a further 2 minutes, resting.
Resist the temptation to jump up into activity, no matter what thoughts and feelings are prompting you to do so.
Just rest in the silence for a few minutes extra and then attend to the rest of your day.
